Autonumber "sort" on header...

Autonumber "sort" on header...

Hi,

I have added a new custom field of type "Autonumber" and when I add it to a view and clicking on the header treats the column as "Text" and not number.

Being an "Autonumber" I have expected it behave like a number.

Is there a solution or work around to sort as number?
