Banner Image on Mobile Site

The banner image on my mobile site is much larger than I would like it to be. Through the HTML/CSS Editor I successfully adjusted the banner area height of .bannerImage but that only adjusts the area itself, it doesn't modify the size of the banner image.

Is there a way to modify the dimensions of the banner image on the mobile site or remove the banner only from the mobile site?
