Basic questions about the Zoho paradigm

Before even doing a trial of Zoho mail (web version, not POP) for an individual user, I need to understand the paradigm better:

1. If I associate my Zoho with a Yahoo or Google account, does the data still live at Google or Yahoo, or is the entire account moved over to YOUR servers?

2. If it is moved, does it bring over ALL the old archives as well? And if yes to that, is there an ultimate limit on storage beyond which the email account s no longer free?

3. If all past data and future mail is stored on your servers instead of theirs, is the old data and email ID DELETED at Y or G? Or do the two sets live in parallel somehow?

4. Is there some way to download archives of ALL mail you host for me? If so, in what form does that archive arrive on my side?

5. If I have alias IDs for a given account at Yahoo, do those aliases port over to Zoho too?
