Bcc Dropbox and email - what am I doing wrong

Need some help ASAP... To start I have CRM Enterprise Edition...

First issue - Trying to use Bcc Dropbox. The account from which I'm sending the email is an admin account in CRM and the owner of the contact to which I'm trying to associate the email. The contact has a legitimate email address and is receiving the email that I send. I can see from my Audit Log ( Setup > Personal Settings > Audit Log) that the emails are being received by CRM but they are not appending to the contact, nor are the creating a new lead or contact (see screen cap)...

I've tried each of the following search patterns...

Search the recipients email address only in Contacts. If there are no matching Contacts, then create a new Contact and associate the email to it.

Second Issue - email not working - I've set up my pop email account yet it is not retrieving email. Both that outgoing and incoming settings were tested during setup AND I can successfully send an email from w/in CRM from the "Emails" tab. Incidentally, this is the same email account from which I am sending email to the BCC Dropbox. Further I have this email account set up in my Outlook for Mac 2011 and it works fine, in fact I copied the account settings from there.

Last Issue - unable to configure Google Apps Gmail - I'm also trying to set up Gmail integration using these instructions. Synchronizing Google Mail with Zoho CRM, however I am unable to locate the email tab supposedly found under Setup > Apps & Add-ons > Google Apps> Email. I have added Zoho CRM in my Google Apps account.

I believe that if the last issue is fixed the first two issues might be moot points, but until I get any of them working, I am completely stuck. Also, I am not sure if the three issues are related and I have also posted this to support, just hoping that someone in the community can lend some guidance and so that I can show some progress before I report to work Monday morning.
