I'm trying to set up Zoho CRM to do some basic things for our business, and I'm finding it to be very challenging. We are a business that sells relatively inexpensive products to a manageable number of accounts. We'd like to do some quarterly forecasting for the total sales for each account, and then be able to track the sales performance to each of those accounts. Because each sale is relatively small, it doesn't make sense to create a large number of potentials to represent each sale. Instead, I've considered creating one potential for each account in each quarter, then creating sales orders to represent the actual sales during the quarter. However, I can't find a good way to compare the Sales Orders entered during the quarter to the potential entered for that quarter using the reports module.
This seems like such a basic thing to do ... does anyone have a recommendation for how to do quarterly sales forecasting with tracking of results?
