I am curious to hear how other Zoho CRM users track the level of engagement of their leads/prospects. Note that I am not referring to email engagement (i.e. opens, clicks, etc.). There are two specific areas I'd like to do a better job of tracking:
1) Downloads - My organization has a number of downloadable tools on our website available for free. The tools are gated, so people need to provide their name and email in order to receive the tools. We would like an easy way to identify how many tools a specific lead/prospect has downloaded.
2) Live Events - We also host a number of live events throughout the year (webinars and seminars). We would like to track which of these events our leads/prospects attend.
Ideally I would like to go to a lead's record and see something like the following:
Joe Schmoe
Docs Downloaded:
- Document 1
- Document 2
- Document 3
Live Events Attended:
- Event 1
- Event 2
I tried adding some multi-select pick list fields to track this - one field for "downloads" and another for "Live Events," however the data is stored in a string which makes it difficult to report on. I was also considering making a Sub Form to track this type of data.
What do others in the Zoho Community do to track and report on this type of data? Thanks!!
