Best way to use Zoho CRM for a small businnes

We are a small glazing company and want to use Zoho CRM to track our leads and sales cycle but don't really know where to start and what the best workflow through the CRM would be. Our business is 70% B2C with the rest B2B. Here is what I understand so far.

We receive a lead which we enter into the Leads module.
We work the lead until they book an estimate at which point we convert the lead to a potential.
  • What do we enter for the potential name? Is it typically the customer name or is it better to enter a job name, e.g. Replace front windows?
  • I assume it's possible to have multiple potentials for each lead. Is that correct?
We track the potential from booked estimate, to submitting the estimate to negotiation to closed won or closed lost.
  • Are we correct in closing the potential when we win or lose the job or should we only close it once we have completed the job and been paid? Or doesn't it matter?
If we win the job we create an account. Now this is where I get lost. What is the account module actually for?
  • Again what is best to enter for the account name? Customer name or a job name?
  • How does the account module relate to the job or customer?

Is there is a basic tutorial that goes through a CRM workflow so I can get an understanding on the best way to fit Zoho CRM to our business?
