a beta parent-child ticketing feature has recently been made available for some, read more here:
I would like to leave some feedback here.
It is nice that you can see directly in the ticket details what type it is (parent / child).
However, it would have real added value if the information was also displayed in the overview:
- Table View
- Classic View
- Compact View
When using the (old) zoho desk extension, you could also see all other child tickets when viewing a child ticket. This is very helpful and is not possible with the new feature.
You cannot use any parent/child-ticketing data in views. It would be very helpful if you could filter according to the parent (ID) or whether it is a child or parent.
To get an overview, it would be helpful if you could use parents and all linked child tickets in reports. The ticket module should therefore also be able to have the ticket module as a related table. Unfortunately, there is also no improvement here compared to the extension...
