Bind Contact with Deal With the Contact Id Via Api

I'm trying to bind my deal (Potential) with a contact, It is binding with the api but the main problem is this is binding working with the contact name Not with Contact id.

What will happen when i'll bind the deal with the contact which have same names. ?

so i need to bind this with the contact id not with contact name.
