blank email window

just upgraded my VO server to 3.2 and ive got an odd issue.

one user and open his emails from the desktop window, but if he goes into the email option on the swipe bar and opens the same email all he gets is a blank window with a title of 'about blank'

Ive checked other users and they look fine. The problem ive got is this user is a heavy email user, so if i delete him and recreate him how can i get just his emails back and working?????
