Booking agency working with roster of artists wanting to incorporate these artists ("clients") in the CRM workflow.
I'm wondering what the best way would be to include our roster of clients into the CRM. These artists are the "products" our booking agency is selling, but we are not sure if re-naming the Products module to "Clients" is the most elegant solution here. Basically, we want our leads pipeline to work with a database of customers (i.e., "Accounts" in Zoho speak) and with a database of clients.
Since our customers are almost always only trying to book one client at a time, and the most intuitive way for us to name these deals is "EVENT DATE x CUSTOMER x CLIENT," and we'd like to have the client's date availabilities, performance rates, and other important identifying information seamlessly integrated into our leads pipeline when we hear that a customer wants to book a certain artist, how then should we incorporate our clients into the CRM? It seems that adding clients into the Contacts module is messy at best as I can't identify how to make a natural division within Contacts that differentiates between whom we sell to and whose services we are selling.
