BUG?? Search in Page can pass only the Search

BUG?? Search in Page can pass only the Search

Hi,
Since the page variables and scripts update, when searching with the Search component in the page, we can pass only the search string to the "Target Page" (Attached Screenshot)
For me, it makes the Search component useless. 

Is it BUG or another step backward?
