Hi there,
I'm building a system on Creator for a loan company. I'm trying to build a page where they can go and search a name and then received a list of loans as well as the total payoff between them. Ideally a search form at the top, a record list/report in the middle, and then several modules at the bottom that are totaling values based on the search query.
I wrote a deluge script for the calculation for one loan that works like a charm. However, I'm having a hard time figuring out how to handle the people who have multiple loans, and then returning that value to the front end. Do I store each in a list and iterate through them to do the original formula somehow, or something different?
I also can't seem to sort out how to pass parameters to different modules on the page, or if that is not possible in creator. I found
this post discussing the matter, but one of the replies read:
As of now there are no direct options to pass the parameter to a whole dashboard page with different elements like reports, panels, etc. But you may pass the parameter to each and every element in the page to filter the elements dynamically.
I'm not quite sure what was meant by the second part...if it meant that you need to put the query variable in each element, or if you have to do something else that I'm missing?
Any guidance on these two things would be greatly appreciated!
