String into Numeric Argument

Need some help! How do i convert a string into a numeric calculation so i can avg, sum, count etc... in edit Aggregate Formulas(Zoho Reports)?
String is: Cradle to Grave (mm:ss)
Desired outcome: I want to be able to Aggregate this field in a report.
