Calendar privilege is view only for a shared google calendar with read/write permissions

Calendar privilege is view only for a shared google calendar with read/write permissions

I am trying to migrate over to Zoho calendar from Google.  I will still be subscribed to several google calendars.  After I shared the google calendars with my zoho account, I cannot create events in the shared calendar from Zoho.  If I look in the details for the shared calendar, it is set to  "Calendar priviledge: view event details".  But on google, that calendar is setup with "make changes to events" permissions.  Am I missing a setting to be able to create events on a shared calendar?
