Calender view desktop

When maintaining a yearly event in my calender the entry is then visible in the desktop calender overview even though the todays date does not comply with the event date. E.g. I entered a birthday on March 25th as a yearly event, now this entry is showing in my desktop calender with todays date.

What has to be done to get correctly shown (i.e. only at the event date the entry should be visible in the desktop calender overview).
