Campaign best practices for recurring events

Hello,

We go to a dozen trade shows a year.  Is the best way to go about this is to create a campaign for each show and just designate the year/place to differentiate?

We want to send an email to leads to invite them to the show and we'd also like to send an email to those that visited.  I'd like to track the emails for the pre-show and post-show as a whole.  For example I'd like to know how all the pre-show emails open/click rate are.  I'd also like to see how they look for individual shows.

I've been thinking about creating a parent campaign for each show.  Then a child campaign for the pre- and post-show emails.  I will assign the existing leads we want to contact to the pre-show child campaign.

Should I be utilizing tags at all for these?  So instead of worrying about a naming convention to go off of for the pre-show email I can just assign a tag called pre-show?  I just want to get started off on the right foot before we get too many campaigns and then it becomes a pain to update things later.

So I have 2 questions:
1. What's the best way to organize campaigns when you are dealing with multiple recurring events?
2. How should we be labeling/naming child campaigns to track it individually as well as a group of similar (ie: track all pre-show emails opens no matter the parent)

Thank You.
