Campaigns

I have created a sign up form for my campaign.
I added the First Name and Last Name field via the edit form fields option for my mailing list.
I even made these field mandatory.

When i go to the sign up form, the form correctly recognises that these fields are mandatory but the field values never get saved into the mailing list. Only the email gets saved.

Anyone know what the problem is?
