Can�t Delete Emails using IMAP

Hi...

My problem is this. I use IMAP connection for my accounts. If I select an email from the list in the inbox (by clicking the check box) and press de DELETE button which is in the top of the list, nothing happens... The page just refreshes, but the mail is still there... If I use the X which is in the end of every mail (four icons, MARK UNREAD, IMPORTANT, SPAM, DELETE) the emails are deleted, and then a number shows up beside the TRASH icon... but if I go to TRASH, there is nothing there.. the email is gone for good...

I tried changing the configuration, and marked the option that says that when I delete a mail it will MARK it as deleted.. but I get the same results...

I am using build 3.2... Fresh installed (no update or prior version) in a Windows XP SP2 machine... Sempron 2600 64bits, 512 RAM...

Any hint?
