What I'm hoping to do is have a page containing details of several events - each event would have a button that would pop up a map to the event - a close on the pop up would leave you back on the original event page.

Setting up a separate page for each map seems a bit overkill and not very user friendly; having the maps on screen all the time isn't a good use of screen space as it means more scrolling to find events..

Any answers/thoughts?
