Can a default task Priority be set?

Can a default task Priority be set?

The "Priority" field in the Task layout does not allow a default to be set. Is there another way of doing it?

Because the current default is "None" and the Zoho Kanban board design has selected this field as critical information to surface by including it at the top-left of the card.  As a result, all our cards appear with a grey icon with an exclamation mark that looks a lot like a warning:  



 Clients and new staff ask about it all the time  - "What's the error on that task? Is it late?"  We are looking for a workaround. 

Here is what we have tried:
  1. setting a default on customization of the Task Layout (not supported by Zoho)
  2. deleting the Priority field from the layout - this is allowed but has no impact on the Kanban card design
  3. customizing the Kanban card design to avoid this field - no customizations appear to be supported
Not a show-stopper, but another aspect of the UI that makes acceptance harder. If we have missed a way to resolve this, please let me know.

                                              • Task Inline Editing Enhancement

                                                Hi All, Today, we have made an enhancement in task inline editing. In 4.0, task edit is moved in a single screen in a pop-up. We designed this in-order to make the task edit across the product to be the same. Let it be in Feeds, Tasks & My Tasks tab, Calendar & My Calendar tab, a click on the task title will open the popup and user can edit the values. Customers pointed us the inline editing was very useful to them & how much they miss that in 4.0. Based on the feedback, we have rolled out this enhancement.
