Can I change the view in Accounts?

We assign Leads to accounts as they come in. The assigned leads are listed in the account when I open it. My question is if we can change what we see in this list?

Ideally I would like to replace Closing Date with a custom field (the date we assigned the lead to the account). If that cannot be done, we can use this Closing Date field as our assigned date, but worry what happens when the date is past?



We are using the free version.
