Can I just mass change leads to “called” instead of logging every prospecting call?

Hello,

When I am making an initial outbound telemarketing calls...is there anyway I can skip the “Log a call” screen or pop-up and just, on mass at the end of the day, select all the leads I cycled through and mark them “prospected” and have today’s date automatically included.  It seems like a silly little thing, but logging every prospecting call with entering “Subject, Duration” ect. takes a bit of extra time that really adds up.

However, I would like to carefully log calls for follow-ups, with duration and time and what not, once someone becomes a potential--but for initial contact I don’t want to go to so much trouble.

The answer to this question is likely obvious--sorry If I’m missing it.
