Is there a way to keep a lead intact after converting to a prospect?  I need this because I import 1,000+ leads at a time and I don't want to import the lead if it's already in my crm.  I assume that the "skip duplicates" on the import lead screen will only look for Leads that are currently in my crm and not look for Prospects?

 

Is the only way to get around this is to clone a lead and then convert one of those leads?
