Can I make zoho notify users when content has been uploaded?

Basically the subject says it all. I want to be able to have my users get notifications when the user content on our VO zoho server is updated. If if it is possible to have these notifications occur is it possible to have some kind of summary notifications so that people do not get emails everytime anything is changed, but rather maybe once a day or once every couple of days?
