Can I tie Leads to Accounts pre-conversion/pre-Opp creation?
Hey folks,
I'm new to Zoho, trying to work out how my company is going to manage Leads within the CRM.
I've done some googling and posts from 8-11 years ago explain that you cannot tie Leads to Accounts pre-conversion. I can appreciate that may have been the way the system worked some time ago, but is it possible now to have a "Leads" section within an Account so that they're linked and my company can track the activity on the Leads within an Account?
It doesn't make sense to me why this isn't possible - centralising the activity over the entire sales cycle of prospects within the Account seems like a no-brainer.
E.g. I have a list of top 20 Accounts and we want to track the attempts made to begin conversations with that Account. For instance, one of the owners queries how many people within a specified company have we attempted to reach and how many attempts have we made to get a foot in the door. If there is no way to tie Leads to Accounts, how is this possible?
