Can not print mail

I am running Windows 10 using Edge browser. I can only see mail in split view. Double clicking on the mail in the left column does nothing. I select "more options", "print" and I get a pop-up of the email with a print icon on the top right. I click the icon and the pop-up page closes and my split view screen re-loads and the mail does not go to the print que. I never had this problem before. If I use Firefox in the same way the email will print.
