Can one remove the recording of time of activity and just require the date?

Can one remove the recording of time of activity and just require the date?

We really want to dumb Zoho down to merely tracking and storing our sales team's interactions with customers/potential customers. Because of this I'm trying to remove as much other functionality as possible (any help you can give on making Zoho better/simpler for this is appreciated).

Is there a way I can stop Zoho from logging the time that a sales visit (activity) happened?
