I want to create a new email address. I could log out and go through the registration process anew, but I think it would be better to add an email ID to my existing account. Please correct me if I'm wrong on that.

 

But I find what should be an extremely intuitive process impossible to understand. I fill out the new display name, but what is the verification address? When I inputted the new address itself, the address seemed to be created, but it's not listed as a possible Default ID and the verification mail bounced. When I put my existing email address, it gets errored that the address already exists.

 

How does one navigate this process?
