Can't find mail merge template

Can't find mail merge template

I have  two mail merge templates in my "Public Mail Merge" folder. They are associated with my contacts.  When I have a contact record selected, I click on the "More Actions" & "mail merge" buttons.  I then get an error message: No Document Found, Click here to import mail merge template.  The only choice I have to click on is "Close"  

Anybody seen this issue?  How do I repair it?
