Can't get messages that are from/to the same email...

I run a forum board that alerts me via email when new topics are posted.  In the forum system, the "from" email is the same as the "to" email.  In other words, the email is coming from and is to me.  

I am not receiving these emails.  They don't even show up in spam.

I've tried to change all types of spam configuration settings, but nothing is working.

I've tested my forum email system and I know it is working when the from/to email is not the same.

So I'm wondering if there is a setting in Zoho that is preventing these emails from either being sent or being received?  Maybe this is an effort to reduce spam?

Anyway, I really need to be able to receive these emails.  Is there anything i can do?
