The error that the other server returned was:

Also I signed up at a couple websites and they have to send me email verifications before I can proceed, I don't get these either, they are not in my junk / spam folders etc.. I have checked them all, and they have sent the email several times.  I am also trying to use Mac Mail with this and have it set up using the instructions for pop, again I can send but not  receive, I tried the Imap but could not send even with that set up.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have included 2 images that show my settings in Mac Mail.
