Hi,
I have just registered with Zoho with personal account. I can send and receive mails using the web page, but I can't send anything using Windows Live Mail as client.
A message comes up saying "The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's email address.
Server error 530
Server response: 530 5.5.1 Authentication Required.
Server: 'smtp.zoho.com'
Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800CCC78
Protocol SMTP
Port: 465
Secure SSL: Yes
I have double checked the settings on Incoming and Outgoing details on Windows Live.
I don't know what Authentication Required means or how to do it.
Any suggestions please?
Have now set up my I-pad and the same problem occurs. I can receive mails on the I-pad system but not send any. A message appears that says "Mail could not be sent". It doesn't say why.
This indicates that the problem is in the zoho settings or system as 2 different e-mail client systems have the same problem.
