I often find that I just need to put a task due date, and often a start date isn't appropriate or necessary. However the system doesn't allow for a due date only, it insists on a start date as well.

In any given task list for us there are priorities, so due dates need to be assigned. The task can be assigned to a person at a later stage, and, when that is done it is at that time we would also then wish to assign a start date.

Is it possible to make the start date optional please?
