Can we receive emails in the Zoho CRM with the free account?

Hi, we did not manage to utilize the 2 weeks of the free trial and test the platform fully, thus today we played around it and we tested some of the features. We would like to know if we are not able to receive email notifications through Zoho since the free trial period ended or something is wrong with our email set up. We can see that the email is sent, when we replied back, we haven't received any notification.
