In candidate login candidate should be able to view status of his application. The workflow set in candidate recruit based on what fields can be made available to able to view.  Also send a snap shot of latest status every week if he opts in. Most of the companies don't provide feedback and end up losing candidates. Also once the candidate is on job is manager gives feedback at the client site we should be able to easily pass on through candidate portal.
