Cannot Attach Files from within Google Drive Folders

We maintain a highly organized directory of customer information in our google drive, comprised of thousands of individual folders. We need to attach certain documents from within these folders to various modules in Zoho CRM, but when attaching a file from google drive it only allows us to see/attach items that are stored in the main google drive directory.  I would sooner give up our CRM than our Google Drive document structure, so there must be a way to attach these files without needlessly wasting time and duplicating them into an area that Zoho can see, or just throwing everything into the main directory and giving up any semblance of order.  Zoho advertises itself as being integrated with google drive but I am not finding that to be accurate at all.
