Cannot change Case Owner if there are double quotes in Subje

I had a case with double quotes in the subject. After clicking the "Change" link next to the Case Owner in the case, I selected a different user and clicked "Save". Nothing happens, and I receive and "Error in Page" message in the IE toolbar. When I changed the double quotes to single quotes, it worked fine.
