Cannot change date format from 8/3 to 3/8

Cannot change date format from 8/3 to 3/8


I have tried changing the dd/MM/yyyy format to MM/dd/yyyy, but it doesn't change anything in the Week display/

So for March 8th, I would like to see 3/8, but I only get 8/3.

Please advise or fix.
