Cannot close my account

having had multiple CRM accounts within Zoho for various reasons, I have now merged all into one so I want to close all the old ones now.

I have reduce the subscription from Professional to Free edition. There is only one user left the administrator.

When I go to the accounts screen - settings - close account - I am told I need to close my business account.

I selected the link and it has now created a bloody zoho mail account which I do not want. I have followed the guide to try and close but cannot access the part that is in the notes.

I need this account closed. How hard can that be?

Its very fustrating when I am a customer and all I want to do is tidy up my data. Please can you respond without telling me to follow the steps I already have.
