Cannot edit any records and views have stopped working
Today i made a change to a field type from number, to text. It was a field that only had a couple entries in it.
I read the typical delete your reports message which was fine since there were no reports based on it.
I then tried to edit the field that i just turned into a text field. I was unable to save the changes when i clicked on edit and made changes.
I then went to grid view and was able to make changes and save it. Now this field that was changed to text does indeed have numbers and words in it.
Trouble is, now i cannot view or edit these records at all anymore. When clicking view or edit i get the following message.
When updating any record i get the following error:
“Error at on update script.
Note: We are working on giving more meaningful error messages on script failures”
Of course this is only for the records i can access the edit menu on. (unchanged records)
I can make changes to records from the grid view but only to the records that have not had the field i changes to text updated.
In addition, i can no longer access certain views. I get the following error when accessing certain views:
“We are unable to fetch this data, sorry!

Please help i can no longer use my application !
