Cannot receive email on primary address but can on secondary address

Hi I created an address Deepak.c@vivono.in. Then later changed Id to Deepak.new@vivono.in by adding alias and setting it as primary.
Now I can send emails but if someone sends email Deepak.new@vivono.in I do not see it in inbox. While I can send from new id

Pl let me know if I am doing something wrong
