Cannot send email with acct that worked yesterday - error says "Reason:Unrecognized SSL message, plaintext connection?"

This is really getting to be a bore.

I am evaluating Zoho for my company, and I am about to throw it in the garbage.  If Zoho mail is the basis for everything else, you would think these issues would be resolved.  I'm pretty technical, and some of the documentation leaves a lot to be desired. 

As of yesterday, everything for my account "appeared" to be working correctly.  Never mind that I still cannot get my partners email account to function like mine using all the same settings, but those requests for help have gone unanswered. 

Today, The email I was receiving in my default account (which is me@mydomain.com - I do not use Zoho servers) is going into my-zoho-username@mydomain.com - the email created for me by zoho when I became a member).  And, I am unable to send emails from me@mydomain.com (or any of the other 3 "send mail as" accounts I created).  I am getting the error message in the topic line above.  I did not change anything since yesterday and they all worked yesterday.

Any help would be appreciated, before I give up on Zoho.
