Cannot set up Exchange ActiveSync on Nexus 7, Android Kitkat
Hello,
I am trying to set up an Exchange Activesync account on my Nexus 7 for my e-mail / calendar. I have enabled Activesync for my e-mail address. I have sucessfully done this on my Samsung S3, and also want to do it for my tablet.
Using the instructions here http://zsync.zohosites.com/Android.html, I create a new account (A "corporate" account, not a "Microsoft Exchange Activesync", since I don't have that option on my tablet.)
And I set up my Incoming server settings, I use msync.zoho.com, Security type SSL/TLS, Port 443
I hit next, and there is a popup screen stating "Validating server settings..." and then it ends with "Can't connect to server."
Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated!
