cant choose saved template for sending out emails

cant choose saved template for sending out emails

hi
1. have created a new template and saved
2. when I go into leads and click on the ones i want to send email out to/click on send etc

unfortunately when it asks for the template, the drop down box says none?

any help much appreciated
