Cant download email on zohomail android app until download on webmail first

Cant download email on zohomail android app until download on webmail first

I have tried everything including switching from pop to imap.  Forced stopped app, restarted, re login etc.  
My zohomail web client is not always online and I cant download email onto zohomail andriod app
until i first download on web zoho client first.

Let me know if anyone has encountered this and fix.
