I am excited to share a new enhancement to Canvas in the CRM that allows you more control over how your homepage looks and works!

What is Canvas Home View?

You can now create and design a custom homepage using Canvas. You can build role-based views that shows your teams what matter most at a glance with a clean and focused design.


What's New?

  1. Design your Homepage using Canvas with drag and drop components.
  2. Share this Homepage with other users, groups, roles, profiles, territories and subordinates.
  3. Create a Canvas home view directly from your Homepage.

Build a Home View

Every team works differently. Sales teams want targets and deals. Support teams want tasks and tickets. Marketing teams want activity and campaign stats. With Home View you can build a homepage that matches their needs.

Build your homepage without coding! Simply drag and drop components into the canvas builder.

Supported Components:

Canvas Views in Home View

You can use your existing Canvas list views in your homepage. All three list view types are supported in the Home View: Custom List View, Card or Tile View, and Table View.


If you have not created any canvas views, you can create on from the from the properties section of the canvas builder.



Component Customization

You can customize components to match your needs, such as:

Add charts with colored labels and background colors of your choice.


Canvas Home View support in the Sandbox. You can create a Home View in production, share it to sandbox, make the changes, and then deploy those changes back to production.


Associate Queries to your Canvas Home View.


Share your Homepage with others

Once you have built a homepage, you can choose to share this view with other users, specific groups, roles, profiles, territories, and subordinates to set as their homepage.

Create a Canvas View from your Homepage

You will also have the option to create a canvas home view directly from the homepage.

Availability:  This will be available for all paid editions of the CRM. Each organization can create a total of 50 Home Views.
