Organization: Anyone can create an Organization level channel. It can range from anything to everything.
eg: #Announcements, #Technews, #Press, etc...
By default, the
org admin will be the super admin and creator will be the admin of the channel.
Note: If your admin has enabled the
Organization Policy for channels to be approved, then the channels you create will have to undergo the approval process.
Team: Team channels are channels in which only the team members will be able to view and join. Anyone can create team channels for their team.
eg: A team can have various channels under it like #Decisions, #Issues, #Support, etc...
By default,
team admin will be the super admin and creator will be the admin for the channel.
Note: You should be part of a group to create a team channel. If your org does not have Groups, then refer
here to create one.
