Character Limits

Okay, so I started inputting company info into ZoHo and ran across a few problems:

1. Passwords can't be longer than 10 characters? I don't really mind this in most situations, but for the default passwords we give each new user it's "first initial + last name + 1" and on a few occassions that equals more than ten. We can get around this, but it's still a slight issue.

2. Somewhat related to the first problem...our email address are "first initial + last name @ companyname.com". The company name is 14 characters, 17 if you include the .com at the end. And many users have long last names...I ran across one user that wouldn't let me complete the name...I had to leave of the "m" in "com". Any ideas?

3. Can you please explain just what the MailID is? As I understand it, it should be the full email address of the user? Or is it just the user name? For instance, when I go to Admin > Mail Config > Add Account the first line is user name (Zoho user I guess), the second is MailID (Full email address?), and the third line is email account name (Looks like this doesn't matter for technical purposes).
