I have a created a table to track bonding by month.  The table tracks the date a bond is issued, when it expires, the bond type, and bond amount.  I wish to create a chart which displays the total amount of active bonds by type and month.

In example if a bond was issued in the amount of $10,000 on 01/01/2010 and expires on 01/01/2011, I would like for the total to be reflected each month the bond is active (01/01/2010 – 01/01/2011) rather than the date it was issued.
